see how easy it is? there isn't any reason to listen to some person who professes to know more about you than you know yourself. Forget the psychic - believe in yourself! It isn't worth the drama you will introduce into your life, not to mention messing with forces you don't want to be messing with.

Having worked as a psychic and dealt with some real quacks, I can tell you this:

First, find someone local who you can talk to face to face. Much of 'psychic' is reading a person, developing an empathy for you, and that simply can't be done as well over a phone.
Second, unless you're seeking simple predictions, more likely you're looking for a spiritual counselor rather than a psychic per se. Check your local pagan shops and let them refer you. Look at the person's age, experience, and ordinations/credentials. Some of what they do is mystic--much is simply folk advice. A 19-year old, however wise, is not going to be very good at this.
Depending on the complexity of what you're trying to solve, you may want to skip psychic advisors altogether and go straight to a social worker/psychologist.

Finally, unless you're looking for mere entertainment (in which case you might want to learn divination for yourself!), do not go to someone within your circle of friends. For any kind of counseling, spiritual or otherwise, you need to remove that person's self interest. If they've got a crush on your boyfriend they're going to make a lousy relationship advisor!

Start with your local shop or pagan community.

i can't force you to do anything but my opinion is that you shouldn't waste your money on them... most of the stuff they "predict" isn't true. a lot of them are hoaxes trying to cheat money out of you. especially those physics on the phonelines.
