How do you feel about the cover art and the chapter sketches?

i like how the pictures give you a clue about what the chapter is like

I find them distracting. I don't like being shown exactly what the characters look like. I want the words on the page to give me an understanding of basic shapes and colors, but leave the details to me. It's impossible for me to picture Harry Potter and Dobby and other characters any other way than how the artist has rendered them.

Well, I live in America and the american illustrations of the Harry Potter books is all I've seen.

There kinda cute but,the art is not why I get the books so it really doesnt matter.

I do like the american cover art, but the U.K. editions are actually better in my opinion. (I live in the U.S.)

P.S. I think that the adult editions (U.K.) are the best!
