i thought of a new web site theme it does not exist as of yet
how do i make it my idea can i make a website my idea
if it goes the way i think it does it will be huge

i am in the process of picking designers and hiring php and database guys but

how do i make sure they will not steal my idea

and once the site is up and going it will take a lil bit to catch on how do i keep the huge sites from implementing my idea on to thier website is there a way?

You'll need a copyright and patent lawyer. Both will be expensive. You'll have better luck claiming copyright for the look than you will have for the idea. If you're idea is good enough, some gigantic corporation will do the same thing and put you out of business. If you have the financial resources you can sue them.

It is really difficult to claim patent on a website.

if you hire people you can make them sign a contract with all the restriction you want to put. it's up to them accept or deny it.

once the site is up you cannot be safe from someone stealing your idea. but you can add copyright notes and if you find someone violating them you can proceed with legal actions. and probably if you're right you will get the worth as money.
