Do you guys think that having so many star players is causing problems for long term and current signings. Not being offensive, just curious as to your thoughts with Gallas gone and rumours of Robben and Lampard's departures to La Liga.

Well, I guess I just have to admit that we just have too much talent in one team. Like for example having three world class strikers like Drogba, Robben and Sheva will do more bad to the team than good. Haven't we all heard the saying:
''Too many cooks, spoil the broth.''

Chelsea's in that kind of situation. But I think the Robben=Lampard transfer is just a rumour. I don't think they'll leave the team or the management would leggo of 'em. I think soon enough Mourinho will understand this and I look forward to a better performance next season.

Hi,

I think i agree with you . In a way its good and in a way its bad.It may have long term problems and there the club would be in jeopardy . But on the other way life is about living in the present . According to me Chelsea is doing the right thing , with so many star players ,they are winning most of the trophies , Carling Cup and F.A cup is coming up and the Champions Trophy.Chelsea B can be a solution to the problem , Chelsea B team have some really young and fast players.

I don't know anything about Lampard and Robben , but it would be a great set back for Chelsea if they leave. On a long term prospective all these tings can be a big proble. This is the time for Chelsea to realize.

Sorry for giving a shorter answer than other Chelsea fans.......

Thanks.

Inter have more star than Chelsea now. And Chelsea manager is doing a superior job, as all stars in Chelsea are so craft for a win. Since, you said it's a rumours, you should know Lampard will not leave Chelsea. And Chelsea will try to keep Robben, as he is the most talented winger.

Kasper... Robben is the best left-winger in the world?!?!?!?!?!? What are you smoking?! I went to get on it.
But as Kasper said there are a lot of teams with many star players; Chel$ki seems to just have a litlte more. I don't think Lampard will want to depart to La Liga(for national team reasons).. and Robben is a great player but not the best left-winger in the world.

Lampard is not leaving, sooner or later he will sign, but i am not so sure when it comes to Robben, he is very under-rated, and Chelsea would be stupid to let him go cuz he is the best left winger in the world, thats a fact!
Many teams have many star players in their squad, but thats not why problems happen when it comes to siging a new contract, signing a contract is something that is always between the player and the club.
We have stars in our squad, but so do other clubs, Man Utd, Barca, Ac Milan, Inter.......... and many more, but in my opinion it has nothing to do with the contract signing...and the problems that come along with that. :)

If Lampard leaves that will be a big blow to the team. I don't think he will really leave because he said he loves Chelsea.
