Just in case there is a global nuclear war. You would be a fool to think the threat is over now just because the cold war has ended.

I was thinking about storing 1 years worth. After this time after the attack food supplys MAY start to be plentiful again. Depending on the severity of the Nuclear exchange of course.

As well as that you'll need to get yourself a gun, mate.
Or at least large heavy edged weapon like a machete or sword.

If there is to be a nuclear war, I would much rather perish in it than be left alive to deal with the destruction, mutation, and other horrific results.

Believe me, should you survive a nuclear war, you'd wish later that you were dead.

It couldn't hurt, but don't go overboard with it. Keep in mind that if there were a nuclear war, you could be killed instantly by a strike. Like someone said above, you would be better off that way anyway.

No. Don't live in fear preparing for the worst which will probably never happen. Live today. You could be run over by a truck tomorrow.

Yes, good idea. Go lock yourself in your basement with loads of tins of baked beans and candles.
