You see i'm in 4th grade and all of my friends say that i'm a de de de, retarded, and stupid. People that I don't even know say i'm stupid. Do you think they are joking or are they serious? I just wanna know because people that havent even met my friends say that too! Even my teacher said that. So what do you all think?

Awww that sucks! No one should be calling you stupid or retarded, especially if they don't even know you. When someone calls you retarded you should tell them that mental retardation is an unfortunate disease that can't be helped by the person that has it, but you don't have it. Anyone calling you stupid, retarded, or a "de de de" is stupid because they are judging you before they even know you. Tell your parents about you're teacher calling you stupid, that's not cool for her to do that. She's supposed to make you feel better about how well you do in school and encourage you, not make you feel worse. Don't feel too bad about students being jerks, kids are mean and they don't understand that making fun of someone just makes them look weak because they have to make someone else feel bad just so that they can feel better about themselves.Don't listen to what they say and just do your best in school.

If your teacher is saying that you are stupid then you need to tell your parents because teachers are not supposed to say that even if you are stupid. And personally I think that if all these people are calling you stupid then maybe they feel like they need to pick on you because they feel that they are really stupid. I think that you are very smart. Do not let anyone get you down. You are the best that you can be so just ignore them.

If your friends are calling you stupid and retarded these people are not your friends. you need to find people out there who respect you enough as a friend not to hurt you this way.
Forget what your peers say, the fact that your teacher, an adult is calling you these names is vastly unfair, you need to report this to a principal or counsellor at school and tell your parents what is going on.

They're all joking hon. Don't worry my friends all cal me that. And I'm a 4.0 GPA student who nevers fails at anything. They call me stupid meaning I really don't think before what I do and I really don't have any common sense.

If your teacher said that you should tell your mom. If a teacher said that to my child I'd.... well, never mind that.
Anyway, I wouldn't pay any attention to them, they are probably jealous of you for some reason. Maybe you get better grades than they do, maybe you are prettier than they are.....
