they had no rights. They could be out getting food for there family and they could just be snatched up. The people who take them just don't care if they have a family or not! I just recently finished studying thing a this was a hard topic (emotionally) for a lot of my classmates and myself.

slavery is an aspect to every african american because all of their ancestors were slaves,,, and have to deal with the way they were treated as a possession instead of a person,, that they were sold without care if they had a family or not,,,,

Well it made life harder people didn't respect them and they were never treted with = rights.
