My friend FOUND a laptop which means that we dont got the different disc so how can we reprogram the whole laptop without going to bets buy and paying money?!?!?!?!?!?!
oh the computer is dell inspiron 2650 the laptop just askes for a password and we ofcoures dont know it

what do you mean you dont have the disc? you mean you dont have a hard drive disc? or hard disc drive? because if thats the case theres no avoiding it you cannot get by without having to go to a store to buy a new HDD. its no big deal really HDD's are cheap these days. you cannot program the computer as a whole without an HDD sry. but if im totally off in what i think u mean, then nvm dont mind me
and no you cannot reprogram it without an opperating system. an operating system is basically the way of which all the information and data is transfered from one side of the HDD and modem to another and what not. basically the way thoughts are organised into our brain, the Operating System dictates how those thoughts(ie. in this case data) are distributed.
without an OS the only thing you can do is use discs. which from what ive heard so far she doesnt appear to have one.

You can reprogram it with any operating system.
If you have disks for an older computer use them.
If there is any thing that doesnt work after word go online and download the missing drivers.
Since its a dell, use XP if you have it.

you cant to program a pc you need the disks u need to take it to comuter shop were they they can reprogram it 4 u i have my disks so i do mine every so often i know how to do it and u do need the disks regard ray
