2 KClO3 ---> 2 KCl + 3 O2

The white stuff left over is the KCl

It will decompose and give of oxygen, that's why it's used as an oxidizer for propellants.

Wat's left over? You'll have KCl mostly, thoug if you heat the bejeesus out of it you could get K2O (potassium oxide)
