Yes, the DS Lite is definitely a good system to buy. It offers very fun game play and not to mention it's fun graphics. The DS Lite has a very bright screen, which is very, very nice to have. It also has little fun twists like the touchscreen, small microphone, two-screens, and a fold able platform. It has a sleek-thin appearance, and I would highly recommend it over the original. It's only $130.00, which isn't much to ask for, for such a fun system.
Overall, I would give it a 8.7 out of 10.

DS and DS lite are exactly the same in terms of power and graphics, it just depends on looks. If you want to play older gameboy games, though, you need to have a Game Boy Advance. The DS doesn't have the processor that the older game boys had that let them play old games. So, if you are all about the new then go ahead and get a DS, but if you want the old then stick with a GBA.

I have a Nintendo DS which I like because it's cheaper and it does the exact same thing as a DS Lite. The system itself is really fun mainly because you get that unique interaction that Nintendo can only offer.

Yes. I have one. They have lots of fun games with great graphics. The DS lite also has tons of cool features like the touch-screen, the microphone, and Wi-Fi capabilities. It is the best hand-held game system in my opinion.

for me, I think it is not only good, but the best.. you can carry it wherever you go.. I have DS lite, and it is really easy to use and fun.. also it is touch screen and there is no other portable video game like that.. you should buy it.. NDS rockz!!

I got one for Christmas and I wish I would have asked for a PSP. The psp can hold music and can connect to the internet. It has great games and great graphics. This is a system that can grow with you.

Yes, had one for 6 months, love it, plenty of games available for it for all ages. easy for kids to use and still fun for adults.

Yeah, you should get it. There are a lot of games and is unique with its touch screen.
