I have recently transferred a disc drive into my room computer and I had done it before, but when I tried to boot my computer afterwards it went on normally.
up until I saw it say that it needed to check the systems disk for validation or such. then it static for one second and turned to an orange light as if on standby. (the monitor) tower was just fine.
what should I do?????

try booting with just that drive.

Dont allow scandisk?

find a bootable OS. IE: Ubuntu and see whats going on..

Sounds a lil odd to me..

Check you have only one disk on master and the rest on slave. ? Using the black plastic jumpers on the drive itself.
