my sister says she got married and i don't want to hurt her feelings by asking to see if she has her marriage license so i'm tryin to find a way to find out without askin her.

i'm not jealous at all. she's just not the type to do somethin that "spur of the moment" and i know her bf/"husband" and he didn't have anything to say about when he was asked. besides she has given my mom and i both diff stories about how and where they did it... so i just don't believe her.

Go to the court house in the county she married in...marriage licenses are public record in most states. Some states even have a license look-uo online.

Check out the Register of Deeds and/or Clerk of Courts office in your county. They can guide you on how to obtain a copy of the marriage license.

Call the court house and see if she applied for a marriage license i don't know why she would tell you that if she didn't.
