Does your eyedrum beat in real life or what?

My dreams are very real and have tremendous control of what is happening , the sound I hear is just as the ones I hear wile awake , and can remember allot of it when I awaken .

Many people have very vivid dreams.Smells are easy but taste doesn't usually work very well for me. If I start talking out loud I usually wake myself up. I usually have a fan going when I sleep and when I start waking up I start hearing the fan again. I think it's more interesting that we can shut these sounds out when we sleep. I used to do this very well when my wife would; "Talk" me to sleep......zzzzzzz
