Snow fact: In general, snow takes up to ten times the amount of space that rain does. So 10 cm of snow would equal about 1 cm of rain!

It depends on what the snow is like. Some snow is very dry and other snow is quite wet. I believe that somewhere between 6 and 12 inches of snow (again, depending on the snow) is equivalent to one inch of rain.
