I'm looking for something that plays music. I don't care about video or photo. Need easy navigation through albums, genre. I would like a player that is sturdy, doesn't skip, and can be charged either with an AC adapter or USB cable. I will be using files on my computer from my music collection - Napster to Go and similar not necessary. No iPod please! And - hopefully under $200. Thank you!!

Really. It's not a joke. The iPod is the way to go. It has all the characteristics you describe above as far as charging, and it's very durable. Go ahead and read in ArsTechnica their reviews.

Also, your files from Napster, when turned to .mp3 should be able to play in iTunes/iPod.

Cheers!

No, you should get a nano, it is the most portable mp3 player of all, the others are just crap, they don't have as good quality as an ipod. Get the 4GB ipod nano, it holds 1,000 songs and is skip free, and it costs $199
