I have a great "special male friend" that is graduating from college this June. I've known him for three years and we've had this messy little friendship where I always seem to want more, and he's perfectly happy in the friend zone and gets scared if I try to cross the line. I've kind of gotten used to living this way.... One thing scares me. He lives like four states away and when he goes home, he's home for good. I doubt he'll really do much talking online and he doesn't have a cell phone (such a 'tard, I know...). At first I got this overwhelming feeling of sadness, thinking of never seeing him again, but I'm borderline scared. I've never gotten so attached to someone like this before and I really can't imagine making it without my old friend. Advice? Words of wisdom? Help!?

You can buy him a phone. That would be the expensive way to keep in touch. Other than that, how about sending letters. They are old fashion, but sometimes when a person moves away from his fam friends, a home made handwritten letter from a friend is just what the doctor ordered. It's definitely an improvement from the bills adults complain about all the time. Make sure you have a really good talk before he leave, maybe at a going away party! Hope it helps!

You will get over this. I graduated from college in 2005 and do not see anyone from college anymore. Now there was a guy friend that pushed me aside when I wanted more and I didn't know why he did that...until he told me he was gay.
Move on lady!

It sounds like love to me. It is going to hurt when he leaves. You need to go ahead & start trying to get along without him now, kind of wean yourself away from him. Good luck.
