is she trying to hack my computer?

Well, if she's a hacker, she's not a very good one! Anyone with any sense would mask their computer. You'd never see it. So... I wouldn't be too concerned with malicious intent.
There are several things that could cause this. Use a network toolkit such as Nettools to discover all the existing computers on your network. Failing that:
1. DNS errors, showing a "ghost" computer. From a command prompt, type "ping april". If you get a hit, it's a live computer. If not, it may be a ghost... type "ipconfig /flushdns" and try again.
2. Netbios errors. Your hosts or LMhosts file could be corrupt. Purge these files and look again.
3. Someone could be pirating your wireless signal. Secure your wireless and look again.
Several other potential causes... but nothing to worry about. If you can see the "hacker" without special effort, they're not worth worrying about.

If she has connected to you with your wireless connection, enable wireless security. If this is a wired connection, she has tapped into your network, buy a router and use it this will prevent this.
