I'm talking about a swim meet called Nationals in Flordia. I live in New Jersey.
I would have to pay for airfare and hotels and the actual meet.
It is one of the most competitive/best meets out there- olympians go. I only made it in one event, but would be swimming anything i wanted to.
Most people go even if they make one event by 1/2 a second.
The only people from my team who are going are older and all friends with each other, and I'm not friends with any of them.
Should I go??

when opportunity knocks......open the door....you may NEVER get another chance at this.....have fun and you may just end up meeting new friends etc.....
make it a learning experience and something you will never forget......GO FOR IT.........

if you just stay, you may regret it for the rest of your life.. try to raise the money... get sponsors or have a raffle or a bake sale...the other kids will warm up to you they are just comfortable around each other but will have the chance to get to know you on the trip.... it will be great think of it as an adventure.. : )
