Tomorrow i have to get a suppository (medical procedure..2 of them!!) for the first time and i'm 15.. I hear it's where they push a pill up your butt but that's all i know. does it hurt a lot? do i have to take off my clothes?

i'm embarassed about it a lot. do i have to stand up or what do i do? what if i make my cheeks tight together or try to so they cant put it in? what if they put it in and i push it out?

does it make me go to the bathroom the same way or diffferent and longer?

it's no big deal, don't stress it...no it doesn't hurt and no it won't make you go to the bathroom...yes you will have to take off your underwear.

It doesn't hurt...it just feels weird and a little uncomfortable. They will probably have you put on a hospital gown so you will be covered, but they can still access the area they need to access. Don't worry about the rest of it. Tensing up is a natural response, and I'm sure they're used to people doing that and will probably have some way of helping you relax. As for how it will affect your bathroom habits, I guess it depends on what kind of medication it is. Don't worry....it'll be fine.

its just a little uncomfortable. I had them when I was young and it felt like I had to go to the bathroom, but it is just the suppository up there. It doesn't really hurt and you shouldn't have to take your clothes off.

It doesn't hurt, ask if you can use vaseline [sp?]. It helps if you bend over and yes you have to take off your clothes. It'll come back out if you squeeze, just relax, it feels like you're pooping towards the inside, but it doesn't hurt at all.

Seems very young for that procedure. I know its done and all but also mention a high fiber diet and see what they say. Good luck!
