The way my league works is you start 3 SP, 2 RP, and 2 P. My starting relievers right now are Joel Zumaya and Salomon Torres, so since I am going to get killed on saves, I'm thinking I just might tank the category. If I keep Santana I'd be starting him, Ben Sheets, C.C. Sabathia, John Smoltz, and Bronson Arroyo in addition to Zumaya and Torres.

No - Roy Halladay is a top ten pitcher when healthy, but while he may approach Santana in wins and WHIP (if he manages to stay off the DL) he will have about half the number of strikeouts.

Putz needs to have more than one great year for me to be a believer. Try to grab a low level closer off of the waiver wire instead of dealing Johan.

Remember that if you are dealing one player away for two, you still need to release someone else - so think of it as Santana plus the guy you will be releasing for Putz/Halladay.

I would make that trade - if I were getting Halladay and Putz, two of the top pitchers for the top pitcher. Halladay should be close to Johan in Cy Young this year and Putz is a top 10 closer.

The guy purposely makes the deal sound and look sexy to get you to think about it, but it's a scam. He will vastly be improving his team, thats why he is offering the trade. When you trade, you want to make sure that you are in control of the action, kind of like playing poker or something. Who ever gets Johan will be adding a top 5 pick to the top pick he already got, so is that a good move for you? NO.

Um are oyu kidding? Roy Halladay is the single most overrated pitcher in fantasy. He is MUCH better in real life baseball. Why? One word....STRIKEOUTS! Yes he gives you WHIP ERA and Wins but his ks are not only bad, they SUCK! I mean He got 132ks in 200+ INNS! I mean I could get Derek with say a .50 higher ERA and .10 higher WHIP for WAY WAY WAY cheaper. And JJ is so unproven. How can you even consider trdaing JOhan?? Heck no

HECK NO!!! Johan doesn't get hurt! If you really want to dump Santana try and get Carpenter and Matt Cain of the Giants. Olsen on the Marlins is a sleeper...pick him up if nobody else has already.

If Putz is a significant improvement over the reliever he'd replace, do it.
