The auto industry. I love to drive, but the price of gas is beyond control. I also happen to think we need to stop "depending" on gas. Taking the automotive industry and moving it towards cleaner fuels, like hydrogen cells, would better serve mankind nad take the fangs off of the oil tyrants. It's a small step, but right i think.
