The head of longtime successfull independent label, East Co Co Records, died on March 7th, 2007. West Coast Rydaz received official word of this from a credible source yesterday. Antioch's Ryan "Woodie" Wood, released a number of independent projects, from his solo albums to the Northern Exposure volumes, and raised the bar for artists in his genre. His music was even featured on "Growing Up Gotti" not too long ago.
R.I.P. Ryan Wood aka Woodie.

Woodie shot himself in the head. I guess that he and his homey killed someone and the 5-0 went after him, and he found out the they had killed his wife and his daughter and knew he was gonna do prison to life he decided to shot himself, at least thats what i heard. R.I.P WOoDie!

ryan committed suicide, sadly, a week ago today. He was in florence, or. This breaks the hearts of all who knew him. May everyones prayers be for his mother and friends.
