Freshman AP class? Whoa what school are you going to I should have transfered! Anyway. Yeah as long as you don't get an early flourish of Senior- itis (being lethargic) then you're set. Just to be sure try getting higher then a 4.0, get a lot of community service, extra curricular activities, and some art credits and you are set.

Why not check with the school? Look at their website or call them. Ultimately your GPA probably is not as important as your SATs or ACT scores are. Also, USC is not exactly Harvard, no offense, so chances are simply being a diligent student is enough. If you want scholarships that is a different story though...

I'm an 'SC student myself. Yes, the weighted 4.0 is great, as well as the extracurriculars. Average high school GPA on my hallway in my dorm is around a 3.7 (unweighted), with pretty tough classes. Don't screw up the SAT and you should be fine.

Keep it up. Looks good. It would also be good to add some outside activity other than sports.
