It's tough to call a 5 seed a cinderalla team, but I am struggling with what seems to me to be a big orange carrot dangling in front of my eyes.

I think the Vols could crash the tourney pretty hard. As I pick my bracket I see potential matchups (assuming they get to the sweet 16) first with Ohio State, who they essentially BEAT except for a last second three by Ohio State.

A potential elite 8 matchup with Memphis, who they throttled already this season.

I picked Texas to the final four, so a rematch with Texas, who they also beat (though if UNC gets there, UNC handled Tennessee pretty rough back in the pre-NIT).

Lastly, since I pick Florida to get to the championship...the Vols just recently trounced them as well.

Maybe I am big orange dreaming here, but that's a pretty compelling scenario for me to keep eyeing as I try to finish my bracket off.

I think Davidson can get to the sweet sixteen they have good scorers, one of which is the son of Dell Curry, and were undefeated in their Conference and are playing teams that are shaky right now if they can beat Maryland they'll be in the sweet 16.
Or you can pick the team from George Mason's conference VCU who I'm picking to upset Duke and might be able to cancel out Gray of Pittsburgh

Winthrop, all of their losses were to excellent teams. I think everyone they lost to is a 4 seed or higher. They also have a pretty easy first round game(Notre Dame). I think they can make the sweet 16

Gonzaga making it to the Elite Eight. I also think that Southern Illinois will make the Final Four.

Texas A&M. Yes they play in a big conference but they are being completely over looked. Don't be surprised if they make the final four.

i'm definately going to disagree with both easily one of you, Illinois would not even need to be in the NCAA tournment, a lot less even bypass to sweet 16 and VCU WILL DEFINATELY lose to Duke in the first round on Thursday, please do not submit in case you don't know what you're speaking about.

My upset pick this year will be Oral Roberts over Washington St., but I think UNLV and Southern Illinois will make a good run this year.

Tx A&M Corpus Christi .... they'll beat Wisconsin, and then maybe win a couple more. They're 30 mins from my hometown so I might be biased a little, but I really believe they can beat Wisconsin.
