According to the Academy Awards, the Best Picture Oscar went to The Departed. However, Babel won the Golden Globe for best picture.

You should also check out The Last King of Scotland, a movie which Forest Whitaker won the Oscar for Best Actor, and The Queen, a movie which Helen Mirren won the Best Actress Oscar.

The best comedies of the year are Borat and Little Miss Sunshine. Sacha Baron Cohen won a Golden Globe for best comedic actor in Borat, and Alan Arkin won the Oscar for best supporting actor in Little Miss Sunshine.

The best musical of the year is Dreamgirls. Jennifer Hudson won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for best supporting actress, and Eddie Murphy won the Golden Globe.

There best animated pictures of the year are Happy Feet and Cars. Happy Feet won the Oscar for best animated feature, and Cars walked away with a Golden Globe for the same category.

The worst pictures:

Killer Instinct II won 4 Razzies, including worst picture & worst actress - Sharon Stone.

Sadly, I liked Little Man, and that won three Razzies - including a Razzie for worst actor - Shawn & Marlon Wayans.
