I think it the same guy messing with my stuff.

He is male, with only 1 leg that steals only 1 sock at a time from my dryer. Then he goes in my attic and tangles up and ties knots all my Christmas lights!

It used to happen to me as well so now I put the cover in and then do the sheet and pillow cases, I used to stop the drier and shake only it always turned out when I took them out a big lump in the cover and a damp pillow case.

There is a little dude who lives in your washing machine. He doesn't mean to do it, but it happens when he is looking for socks to eat. That is why you usually have one missing sock after a laundry load. If you bung a sock in the washing machine at the same time then the sock will disappear but the rest of your washing will be okay.

They are like baby sheets or little kids trying to hide from the bath tub. That is just my theory. You get damp corners when they come out of the dryer and always wonder if they all got clean.

If you don't want them inside out try clipping it shut before washing ,i find this easier for when making the bed again cause you need it inside out to re make the bed

Either button up the quilt cover or do them in separate loads.

Because you don't button it up before you put it into the machine.
