Spotting is light vaginal bleeding. It can occur in between periods, can be an early sign of pregnancy or a sign of a miscarriage. It's usually a brownish red or a pink color, think back to when you had your first period it will most likely resemble that color. It's all up to you ... everyone woman is different as far as color, amount and those sorts of things go. It also ranges in severity , it can be somehing compleely benign or something very serious. if you are concerned contact your health care provider .
