roughly how much time has passed since da start of the first season of 24 ? i.e the between seasons gap ? i know ders 18 months r so between season one and two but in total ?

18 months between seasons, but I also remember seeing something that said that the show is probably set in the year 2010 on the Wikipedia website. If you type in 24 and click on the online encyclopedia in Google or Yahoo, follow the stream to Season 6, and it should talk about the timeline to that point.
