I would definitely choice Sony over HP... The only way I would choice a HP computer is if I only had one choice between Compaq and HP. Aside from that, HP sucks!!!
Go with the Sony and feel like a high class person, because HP's are made with very poor qualities. and they are barely better than Compaq's
My Favorite though is a Dell. No one beats a Dell in nothing.

I just bought an HP Pavillion Special Edition and it's great. It has the AMD Turion 64 X2, 2 GB mem, 120 GB HD, Nvidia card, 12 cell battery, DVD burner, web cam, Vista Home Premium and a 15.4 inch screen. It's on sale at Best Buy for $1049.

PS3. I used to artwork for the Sony areas warehouse and we had backlogs on all fix discs for multiple Vaio laptops. they are very overpriced and purely take Sony upload-ons that are costly too. Get the PS3. Its a extra useful good purchase in assessment.

Sony! It costs more but it is worth it. I have both brands.
