I failed to obey a steady red indication and paid a fine back in Nov 05. I also took the online traffic school. I recently requested a copy of my driving record and it states "Adjudication Withheld" on Feb 06. What exactly does it mean by "Adjudication Withheld"?? My license is still valid. Please help!

It means you were not actually found "guilty". It is my understadning that when adjudication is withheld it does nto show on your record you amy want to check into that.

It means that the adjudication of your case (i.e. whether you were guilty or not) is "withheld." I would hypothesize in your state that this is like a "suspended sentence," where, if you perform the prerequisite acts (going to traffic school) your ticket is not counted against your driving record.

In the alternative, it could mean that the adjudication (whether you were guilty or not) is being "withheld" from your record (i.e. they've decided not to put the ultimate outcome on the record) --probably for the same reasons.

'Adjudication' has nothing to do with your license; it is a big term meaning "judment" or "the procedure by which a court determines whether you're guilty."

It means that no judgment was rendered....

That means you were never found guilty of the charges.
