I heard they closed that walkthrough down at Universal Studios Hollywood. Is it true 'cuz I wanted to go there in the summer and that was gonna be the 1st attraction I go to.

They always change the haunted maze every few years. Van Helsing ran from Spring 2004 - 2006. Before that it was The Mummy Returns: The Chamber of Doom since 2001-2004. Now they're changing it to all the classic Universal monsters (which includes some of the creatures from Van Helsing, just not 100% exact). According to my source below it should be open by spring as The Universal House of Horrors.

Well, yeah i'm pretty sure the ride is closed already
The last time I went there was in Dec 2005 when they still had fortress dracula, and honestly I don't think you're gonna be missing anything.
