Well, look at a map.

You can come up with lots of questions just by looking at a map of the region. Questions can cover mountains, rivers, and capitals.

For religion- go to Google and look up Religion- Middle East.
The majority of the nations in the Middle East are Islamic. You can ask questions about the different 'sects' in Islam- Shiite, Sunni, etc.

You can also ask questions about the history of Islam.

For history, do the same thing- go to Google and type in Middle East- History. You will get lots of hits.

Perhaps ask questions about the Crusades or the development of the Palestinian State.

You will learn more if you do the research yourself.
