What are the ports in the back of my XBox controller.?

This is the older XBox not the 360 but on the wired controller ther are two ports above the cord that look like something could plug into them. Just curious.

You put a memory card into them. It's really handy if you need to take your saves to a friend's house or if you want to transfer saves onto a new xbox. They're used in online play too.

yeah, those are for memory cards and the like.
