From the answers I scanned--well--I didnt' think you meant someone YOU NEVER KNEW. Am I wrong? If not, no, it's definitely not restricted by time & space. I don't believe love "lives" in time & space. May I use just an example? A very dear, (probably the most I'd ever loved anyone) person with whom I "disconnected" for reasons on which I won't digress, married after he "felt" I was safely married to someone else who would "take care" of me. (Which is what he always did!) We lost touch for ever so llong. But I had dreams of him over the years, at times I was uncertain & had no reinforcement. Okay, done. No. I stopped having the dreams for a long while, yet he kept coming to mind. To the extent that I was COMPELLED to find out how he was. I found his sister, whom I'd liked, but we were never close. He had JUST had a horrible fall, which turned into his being diagnosed w/Alzheimers, (he was much older, but they were wrong!) & was in a facility in San Francisco. (I did the same thing with their mother when I had such feelings, & she had JUST died.) I then (divorced) had the opportunity to visit him talk about our wonderful times, send him books & CDs & you name it. He now has dementia, & his Power of Atttorney (his ex-wife) won't "let" me see him. But, my dear, I could never express the love he's had for me over years, & that even for so short a time--I could "give" something back to him for all he'd meant to me. I KNOW he was "calling out" to me from this distance. & he is NOT the only one. I wonder. It seems that love is immortal, & nothing can break the connection. Ever. I've lost a lot of dear, dear friends. There are moments when I "feel" them standing beside me, in situations we shared, & always with a smile. Sweetie, I don't think love has "limited dimensions." NOT because that makes me feel good, but because it is TRUE.

I like to think that just as each person is unique, so is each love. For the ones that seem like a soul you knew in ages gone past, I'd say no - that love is not restricted by time and space.

Love is a chemical reaction in the human brain. So it absolutely is restricted by time and space.

unfortunately, yes. If two people never meet or know of each other than they cannot love each other. the laws of space and time overule those of love and war.

Just the opposite. It's unlimited and comes in many forms as well. And you can fall in love more than once.
