my kids all changed positions up til probably the last week... some even change on the delivery table... so yeah, it is natural for them to do that... and the kids got hiccups all the time too... we used to set a glass on my stomach and watch the hiccups (yeah, we were easily entertained LOL)

i'm 36 weeks and my baby used to lay transverse or horizontally along the bottom of my belly in the ultrasound you could see that sometimes she's be laying head on the left and sometimes she'd be laying head on the right. About a week ago I didn't feel her across the belly i started to feel like she was standing up in my ribs and i can even feel her head poke out at the top of my belly ( I know it's the head because when it presses against my skin it's round larger than an elbow or knee). The next day I feel her kicking on my right hip again. Babies lie in whatever psotion is comfortable, I asked the technician about this. The reason babies tend to drop into the birth position is because they run out of room and find that position most comfortable further along, so your baby may be rotating bcus she's more comfortable that way now. Your belly does start to drop when you get further along . Mine has dropped and instead of being completely round the front has flattened a little bit all of which my doctor told me was normal. hiccuping is a good sign.

If you were breech before its possible she could have turned. Also im 36 weeks pregnant. I feel her kicking all different places all the times. She gets hiccups at least twice a day and I feel them every which place. It just depends on how she is laying. They can be in the same position they just shift a lot!!
