I want to learn how to do marketing. Is there anywhere or a link to learn as a beginner that won't just blow my mind because I have the slightest idea what i'm doing but very interested in learning how.

THE INTERNET!!! Books don't hurt either. As someone who minored in marketing in college and has worked in the field for six years, I wouldn't recommend college unless you're so hopeless you need someone to diagram the learning process for you.

What type of "marketing" are you referring to? There are many forms of marketing and before anyone can guide you in the proper direction, maybe it would be a good idea to narrow your question down to a more specific form. Hopefully someone who has experience in your particular niche will be able to provide you with some solid advice.

As with most things, after you "learn" the techniques, your true training will come from practice. Anything worth doing is worth doing badly at first. In time, you become what is known as "unconsciously competent", as my mentor calls it. It's like tying shoes...

Best wishes...

You could posssibly go to a community college and take some classes, or just go to a local library and find some good books. There is tons of information out there, you can even find stuff online that give you some basic information, but if you want to learn a lot, easiest thing to do is go to school.

Try to find blog sites that cater to marketing discussions alone. This is easy, all you need to do is to search the keywords: "basic marketing" on search engines and you will be able to find articles/blogs of the same interest.

There are thousands upon thousands of links; but most want money. They assume you're an entrepreneur and are ready to start using your advertising/marketing budget. Start free at howstuffworks.com/marketing

when you're ready to buy your first mailing list, I recommend here: geocities.com/optinbizleads
(don't forget the triple w's. before geo)
