My pc has win98se Must I use wmp10 to load songs onto the player or is there another way?

It depends on the mp3 player. Some are "drag and drop". All you need to do for those is to hook up via USB, open up My Computer and click on the drive letter for the drive. Find the mp3 files you want to upload to your mp3 player and drag them over to the drive.

It's the way I load up songs on my mp3 players!
