It was very disappointing to me.It was also short. The good parts were only the clips they showed on the previews .

I wouldn't say it was the funniest movie ever, it was in a different comedic category than your average Adam Sandler/Will Ferrell/Jim Carey type slapstick. Funny is not the word for Borat. I think the level of discomfort you experienced watching the movie was where some people in a public theater scenery probably laughed. There were some funny parts, but it should be appreciated in a political/whimsical category apart from your average comedy. Actually, I thought the movie was better than I expected.

I think it was well done, largely due to Sascha's talents and many of the comedies out there definitely pale in comparison.

Few people in Hollywood actually create their own character and take it to the level Sascha did with Borat. In general many American missed the point of the movie and tende to rate it lower than it deserves.

If you didn't enjoy it, I'm sure you are glad to have only paid $4 to rent it rather than $8 to see it in the theater.

I didn't feel like it was rushed. In fact, I was happy when it was finally over. There were parts that were good (and I did laugh), but there were parts that were just embarrassing. On the other hand, someone very close to me laughed hilariously all the way through. It depends on the individual, really.

The movie can be best compared to a polluted river with a few clean patches of water.

I thought it just generally sucked; if I didn't know better, from the(lack of) quality, I would have thought he and it actually WERE from Kazakhstan(Jinquie)
