You paid FREAKING outrageous prices for gas! That has lots of historical importance. Or "your cousin got deployed with the marines to Iraq." You could write about the historical importance of that.

i realized our government is wack and could have possibly bombed itself on 9/11. i watched "loose change". I wish there was a way everyone in this country could watch it and there could be a debate between regular citizens and those in the white house so we can have some questions answered. I feel like I'm helpless.

anything involving the government like Congress approving of the new raise of the federal wage which will mean you will mostly likely get paid more in the future
