Most of these wrestlers in the WWE just come in there between 1 to 3 years and then the WWE releases them for practically no reason, and then you've got guys like Triple H, HBK, Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Stone Cold, The Rock, John Cena, Bradshaw (now known as JBL), Mark Henry, The Hardy Boys, and even Scotty Too Hotty.
How in the world did they achieve that status where the door's always open to them and they can stay for as many years as they want? Simon Dean, Luther Reigns, Heidenrick, Tantanka, and Sylvester Terkay were good to, so how come they were released?

WWE releases the new guys for two main reasons: They suck and the creative team can't come up with a storyline for them or they have screwed up and pissed someone off. Those or else they ask for their release.
The guys that have been there for a while stay because they are loyal to their employer.
Oh and here are a few things you should know:
Simon Dean is still in WWE, he is just taking a break from in ring competiton. He is one of the bookers in the developmental leagues.
Luther Reigns was released because the creative team had no new ideas - plus his skill hadn't improved.
Heidenreich asked for his release in order to rebuild his house after his family lost everything in Hurricane Katrina.
Tatanka requested to be released because he was worn out and he needed a lighter work schedule.
Terkay was released because WWE had no idea what to do with him. Plus, his in-ring ablity to use different moves hadn't improved.

All the superstars that were released were not big enough with the crowd. All the others that u mentioned have been very popular with the crowd since the begining of their careers, and the wwe keeps them so that the fans will keep paying for their merchendise to see them fight.
