Freedom of speech and the right to bear arms. This country has not been invaded since the war of 1812, in part because every American has or can have access to a gun. Freedom of speech is also a hallmark of society. In the former soviet union, where free speech was not protected, you would have undoubtedly been forced to include pro-communist retoric. Another example, in China, people are not allowed to speak of their leader in the same fashion people here are allowed to speak of the President. Free Speech is the avenue for ideas and understanding. These are but a few freedoms that we hold dear in our society.

Good luck on your project

Voting is important but I think freedom of the press is the most important because it's the only way we can keep tabs on the Government!! It's also the only way we can find out the issues the canidates and politicians believe in.It's also a big way they find out what we want. But all of our rights under the Bill of Rights and the Constitution are very important.

Freedom of expression.

Without the ability to speak, and publish, and associate --- we wouldn't be able to sustain any of the other rights.
