that's one of the questions God gave us that is unanswerable, so we never think that we know everything.

The universe was not created. It just is. The universe consists of nothing, but it contains everything known, and a lot of unknowns. There is no human number or words that can describe the size of the universe. Limitless, infinity, forever, never ending, are moot points in the universe. Man's mind is too limiting to imagine or comprehend such size or distances.
The universe had no start, it will never end. It looks black, but is actually colorless. It has no center, edges, corners, quadrants, power, temperature, gravity, holes (black, worm, or otherwise), or creatures floating in it. Just unimaginable void with sparse clusters of matter and gases here and there. It is completely uninhabitable, there is nothing to inhabit except what we might take with us. But if we went, where would we go? The universe has no reason to exist, or a reason to end. It just is.

Putting the big bang or creation aside for a moment, consider what you know to be truth. That the universe is filled with elements that go through chemical reations in order to reach a state of peace, from this state it gives off life and multiplys, then goes through entropy and gradually fades away. Now relate these facts to your everyday life as a human, we will also go through the trials and tribulations of life in order to attempt to attain peace and happiness for ourselves. Whether we succeed or fail in our journey we know that all creation lives for the same reasons, to survive, eat, pass genes, etc... If you are lucky enough to find love in your life, then there is reason. I believe in science, but I see them as teachers and pioneers, I will not let them tell me there is no God when I know we are his family and we were created for the same reasons a man and a woman makes a family.

I am a lot more science oriented than religious, but I have to make the point that people pooh-pooh the Genesis story of creation in 6 days, yet science is telling us that it all came about in a split second from nothing.

Which one is more fantastic?

In any case, science cannot explain what started it off, and until it can, only a fool would totally discount a creator.

Dr.Ken hovind who is a scientist does an amazing job explaining God's creation. Just click downloads to see all his amazing facts. It makes creation look so dumb,(not that it isn't anyways)

Albert Einstein said; the universe is like a male lion. On the tail of the lion is a flea. Earth is the flea. We live on the flea. We know the flea is inside of something; the lion's hair, but we do not know how big the lion is, and we do not know how to reach the end (nose) of the lion, and we really do not know what the lion is, just that it is there, and what the lion is!!

It will probably take hundreds of years for us to reach the lion's nose. Until then, we can only guess.

There's no evidence that it was created. All we know is that it started in the Big Bang. Whether that was created or not is a philosophical question - Science can't provide any answer to it.

Don't listen to the people who say that God did not create the universe! OF COURSE He did and it's amazing that He created it! We are here because God wanted us to worship Him. Yes, I think the very same too, like what will it be like if I wasn't here...and stuff like that. God's reason is a good reason...worshipping Him.And I am proud to be here worshipping Him all I can!

I reccomend reading Michio Kaku's "Hyperspace" to get a grip on the mechanics of the creation of the universe, it is shockingly simple.
