will amitriptyline help me sleep all night with out waking up at night?

it takes me a long timg to fall asleep

The drug is Elavil, it is used as a old school anti-depressant.Depending on dosage 100mg. or larger works very good as a sedative. You should see immediatly. If taken in larger doses could cause confusion. Take it and then eat .

get a second opinion!there are other options out there.make sure to research any prescription drug BEFORE you start taking them.does the long term effects out weight the benefits of the drug now?
