on my birthday i was given a choice to get a nintendo ds lite or a brand new bike. my bike is really crappy so i really need a new one but on the other hand iv always wanted a nintendo ds lite or some kind of a gameboy.

The bike! No one exercises enough these days and by getting the video game, you'll only be hindering yourself from getting out and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

On my Palm device I could get a game called "Bike or die" but I don't think your DS could play that game. However how many games are you going to get with your DS? If not many games you might choose to get a bike that will save you time getting to places you might want to go to.
If you have friends with nintendo ask them what they would choose, they also may prove useful in deciding which present is more desireable.

Hm.. Depends on what bike.
If its a really nice bike, I might just go with that.. Then, you could do something like a paper route or something on your new bike, then earn money for you DS!
If you don't wanna do that, I'd probably go with the DS.

I would ask for a nice, expensive, cool bike and then, with my birthday money save up and a DS.
