OK so for my test we have an essay tomorow and the question is if kate actually has given in and i say she has...can you give me a scene or quote that supports this?

Check the scene where Kate and her husband retrun to his castle. She is famished, but he repeatedly won't allow food to be served to her until it is of the "proper quality." In doing so, Husband sends the signal that he is in charge, yet wants what's best for her and their relationship.
