Markets go up and down. Obviously the market goes down because there are more sellers than buyers, but the question is why. There really are so many factors to why, one of which is momentum. Basically the crowd or herd for whatever reason that day become sellers and the momentum takes over and sell off will ensue. because the market value of a company or of its products may go up or down.......its simple demand and supply concept mixed with a bit or sometime excessive speculations on behave of some big players in the market......
