Im three days late now in getting my period. tho Im not worrying quite yet.. but I have been getting quite a large amount of cloudy stretchy discharge around the time Im suppose to be getting my period.. Ive just been to see my doctor three days ago.. and not going back till next week. but three days ago.. it wasnt happening .. so I couldn t ask.. Im quite a little confused.. tho.. Im not worried yet.. maybe if my period doesnt turn up in the next few days maybe I will.. and take a hpt.. but until then.. any one know what this could be??

i would go back to your doctors to be sure what it is.. i dont remember anything like that when i was pregnant xx

This discharge could be becuase you are pregnant and it is called 'Leukorrhea' it is as you describe and is caused by the increase of hormones in that area when you conceive.
However, without actually having it looked at by a doctor plus the fact you indicate it is not a worry for your period to be a little late it may be normal discharge most women experience. Discharge changes at different stages of a womans monthly cycle and where as its clear & slimey when you ovulate it does turn whiter and cloudy nearer your period.
If your period does arrive but the discharge continues make an appointment at your local GUM clinic as it could indicate a mild infection. If it turns out you are pregnant then by all means mention it to your doctor but it is expected that you would be having an increase in vaginal discharge then anyway. Hope this helps! Take care x

You need to take the HPT, thats the only way to get an answer.
If it comes back negative, go and see your doc and tell him about the discharge to be on the safe safe side.

take a hpt if ur 3 days late and ur preg it will show up as ur preg. preferably an first thing in the morn test. if dicharge has replaced ur period then thats 1 sign of preg. gud luk hope u get the result u want

are you pregnant?
i would wait a couple of days and do a test to make sure either way...... the doc can do a simple blood test to see whats going on ....... he coule also do a swab to rule out any infection.....
its alwyas best to get things like this sorted out sooner rather than later
