What about the immigrant hamster problem? What about cage-al warming? Why don't you get out of your three piece suit and talk to the rodent on the street and come up with some solutions for the blue collar peeps.

No. For me the key word is "wealthy". I don't support tax breaks for the wealthy.
And giving wealthy gerbils ranchers an extra break will just make things harder for the smaller gerbil ranches. I just can't see this as a good move.

Of course. Those gerbils are vital for our national defense, and one important way we defend our country is by tax breaks for the wealthy.
Also, you have to understand that its not just a tax break for the wealthy, you foolish class warfare liberal! Those wealthy gerbil framers CREATE wealth for all of us by their selfless business activities. We should be thanking them for those minimum wage, no benefit jobs cleaning the gerbil cages, lugging sacks of gerbil feed, slaughtering the little boogers and packaging delicious gerbil fillet for school cafeterias.
He who builds a corporate gerbil farm builds a temple!

i fear that taking on the wealthy gerbil farmers and their chief lobbyist richard gere is almost impossible. they enjoy massive subsidies as gerbils farms in sub-saharan nations have been lording over us their "competitive advantage" and "cheaper inputs of production". i assume that means that they are commie, anti-american bastards who just want entrance into our verdant gerbil marketplace.
president dukakis, the only chief of state that i choose to recognize, has proclaimed that our addiction to foreign gerbils must be ended if we are to survive as a nation of gerbil owners. now i know what youre saying, gerbil owners are the sleaziest and most disguisting of people/children. but its these sleazy gerbil owners who keep america's collective rectum warm in winter months.

No, I do not. Richard Gere certainly has enough money to pay taxes to support his animal husbandry. He gets enough credit for ferrying the Dalai Lama around in his velvet-lined rickshaw.

Well, a large gerbil supply is important.
You need to keep things in perspective, you know!
