You should use 3M Notebook Screen Cleaning Wipes for your laptop screen. It will clean it very good. I got those wipes from Comp USA. You shouldn't use Windex or rubbing alcohol. It won't clean your monitor at all. It'll just make it worse.

Screen Guardian by Kensington. It's a spray specifically desgined for cleaning laptop screens. you an use it with a plain non-abrasive cotton paper towl or tissue. It works perfect on tinted, anti glare and polarized screens.
DON'T USE WINDEX!!! Windex is a glass cleaner and laptop screens are plastic based. Windex will kill your screen!

Windex can be VERY bad. Use a soft clean 100% cotton cloth damp with plain water.
Some laptop screens have special treatments that can be destroyed if you use anything else. Check with manufacturer, until then only 100% cotton & water.
NOT paper or any synthetic they can also scratch.

Get a very soft tissue or a piece of cloth. Cotton clothing will do just fine too. Damp it with a little water, or some alcohol we use to clean our hands. Don't use any soap, or bleach, except for the ones mentioned earlier. Alcohol is better because it evaporates instantly if exposed to air, so just rub the cloth gently on the screen in one direction.

Actually I would use windex... I use windex on my computer screen and it works wonders. Just don't use any rags to wipe it off.. Use paper towels...

whatever you use do not spray it directly on the screen or some of it might go inside the monitor and short out the wiring,
instead spray it on the cloth (lightly without runs) then apply it to the screen.
use this same method on your keyboard or computer case.
