Common Name: banana shrub
The banana shrub is so called because of the distinctive, sweet banana scent of its flowers. I have one and they smell wonderful.

OK, it's an aside, but you can make banana smell from simple combos of amino acids. a couple of biology grad students made e-coli smell like banana, and I know of certain elicit substances that smell like banana
But, of course, I have not actually asswered your question.

my bin it stinks off rotting bananas , we do eat a lot , but it got to be, help I'm stuck need some advice not being rude or nothing plants kill me .
